Organic Chemistry I: Tips for Mechanism

These are the only notes I understand from my organic chemistry class 😦 Hopefully you can make better sense of it than I can!

  1. Represents the movement of two electrons
  2. At the tail of every arrow, there will be two electrons. At the tip of every arrow, there shall be an atom or a space between two atoms
  3. arrows drawn on the same picture shall represent simultaneous events
  4. thou shall not draw an arrow to an atom with a filled valence unless there is another arrow
